  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

PHP Support "Component Was Not Installed"

HI! I have a new install of Plesk on W2K3 and when I go into the domain setup I am unable to check "PHP Support". It's greyed out and there is "(Component was not installed)" text next to it.

I did notice that the PHP ISAPI filter wasn't installed and the mappings weren't configured by default, but I've done that manually.

Any ideas?

Eric

Is php installed on your server?

Did you run the installer or set it up manually?

If not I would just run the installer from php.net and make sure it is mapped in IIS, if not do it manually....

.php extension (Drive letter:\PHP\php.exe)
