  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Plesk 10.0.1 panel upgrade resulted over 330MB server memory loss

Hello Folks,

I have just upgraded to Plesk 10.0.1 and all went well, except I now have a lot less server memory. Simply stated, with Plesk 9.5 after an Apache reboot I had better that 700MB of free memory on a 1&1 1GB Cloud Server, but with the new panel I have only about 380MB available.

I now receive several red memory alerts daily, and 1&1 provides no clue as they will not compile this new panel for a long time to come, and so suggest Apache re-boots and downgrading to the previous panel, but not how.

I would appreciate if anyone could provide info if this can be rectified, and if not how to downgrade to the previous panel.

Thank you kindly for your help and suggestions.
