• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Plesk 10.4.4 Stops Default Website in IIS 7.5

Brandon Minor

New Pleskian
I have recently installed the new version of Plesk for Windows 10.4.4 and after the installation the default website no longer works. I have installed a fresh version of the following:

Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise
ColdFusion 9.0.1 x64
MySQL Server 5.1.56 x64
MSSQL Server 2008 R2 Express
...

The problem was noticed when I went to create a ColdFusion DSN.

I have tried the solution outlined in a similar post and I don't even have the Handler Mapping (AboCustom-49593) available in IIS 7.5 Please help!

Fix Breaking of Default Web Site

In Plesk 10.4.4 when you install it, it leaves all web sites other than Plesk in 64 bit mode. You must change the DefaultAppPool to 32 bit mode to re-enable the default site and ColdFusion integration. This is of course in 64 bit versions of IIS 7 & 7.5.
