  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Plesk 10 to Plesk 12 mail migration

Jerry_Steele

New Pleskian
Hello,

A few days ago, I performed a migration of "mail users and messages only" from a Plesk 10.4.4 Update #59 to a 12.0.18 Update #30 server.

It seemed that nothing was transferred at all, and the panel said it was "completed". I've noticed that the mysql schema between the two versions of Plesk are different, so i'm wondering if that's the issue. Is there anywahere I can look on the systems (log files etc.), to find out what may have gone wrong. Is it possible to do this migration at all?

More info: both boxes are Linux, both MTAs are postfix. If any more info is needed, don't hesitate to ask.

Thanks

Jerry
