  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hello,

I'm very surprise to see that Windows 2008/2008R2 Web Server is not support for plesk10 !!
why ?!

Why you need Web Edition and not enough existing

# Windows Server 2008 SP2 Enterprise Edition
# Windows Server 2008 SP2 Standard Edition
# Windows Server 2008 SP2 Datacenter Edition
# Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise Edition
# Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard Edition
# Windows Server 2008 R2 Datacenter Edition

?

I agree. I use Windows web edition for all of my servers and now it looks like I'll be stuck with 9.5 because Windows 2008 Web is not supported by plesk 10. Any chance of Parallels adding Windows Server 2008 Web Edition support for the next release of Plesk?

Thanks.

Plesk 10.1 should support Windows Web Server 2008 R2 (64bit). As we didn’t fix anything for it particularly, just tested – I believe 10.0 worked with it just fine.

I run it on our entire shared farm and it works phenominally.
