  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Plesk 11.0.9 and Debian 6 to Debian 7 upgrade

Cheech_Schneidi

New Pleskian
Hi,

My current System:
Debian 6
Plesk 11.0.9

Problem:
I have to upgrade my Server from Debian 6 to Debian 7 and i want to use Plesk 12

I saw already some threads with issues to update Plesk but no solution for my issue.

I need to now step for step which way i have to go to make sure all upgrades will work.

My idea is to upgrade my Plesk 11.0.9 to Plesk 12, do a backup up over Plesk. Then i install Debian 7 with Plesk 12 and implement the backup.

Will this work or not, if not what i have do to to make sure this will work.

And it is very important for me to implement the whole backup and not only a part of it.

Thank you

Cya Cheech

Yes, I confirm that you can use this method. It looks the most optimal way.
