Hi all

I have a shiny new (upgraded to) plesk 12 VPS with Ubuntu 10.

I have spent hours following the instructions here only to fail at the last step. When I come to register the new php version with php_handler, i get:

/usr/local/psa/bin/php_handler: No such file or directory

Now, this is not what I expected at all. I can't find any assistance for this error anywhere. Any ideas how I might sort it. I am so close.

As you can see, mentioned KB article http://kb.odin.com/en/118378 is applied only for Plesk 11.5 and 12.x versions. But you have Plesk 11.0.9 where php_handler mechanism has not been implemented yet.
 
Ok I see that. How to I register the new PHP version in the current plesk, or is it more sensible to try to upgrade plesk to v12?

I would suggest upgrade to latest Plesk version where multiple PHP feature is out of box. But on current version you can try to use Atomic Panda solution. But I'm not sure that this solution is compatible with so old Plesk version.
 
Thanks, that's really helpful. When I tried to upgrade it last night it was throwing some error about a database upgrade... Didn't pay much attention to it at the time but it might have been ax or something similar. Will give it another go later and may post a new thread if I'm hitting issues.
