• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

PLESK 7 migration issue

Hi,

While migrating from PLESK 6.5 to PLESK 7.0 for windows, I got the an error at the end of last phase, i.e. "Restoring the control panel configuration"

The error is:

"COM Error 80004005 (Unspedified error) at scheduler restore."

PLESK 7.0 has been installed but its not working. not a single site or mailbox is working.

PLease do advice ASAP.

I would contact plesk support or reinstall 6.5 and then restore your backup and try the upgrade to version 7 again.

I would probably contact plesk support. ;)
