• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Plesk 8.3 updates

RS_Jelle

Basic Pleskian
My main "Plesk Updater" page says that my Plesk 8.3 installation is up to date, but when I go to the components page of the release, there are updates for the base packages, watchdog, ... All released on "Jan 31, 2008", except the new Plesk Updater version (Feb 1, 2008).

Does someone know what has changed? Any changelog or release notes?

Hi,

The latest installer is dated by 13.02.2008, you can get it at ftp://download1.swsoft.com/Plesk/Plesk8.3
To get rid of the unupdated packages try to upgrade Plesk CP with the latest autoinstaller, check the /tmp/autoinstaller3.log file for the details about which packages are not updated.

I know, but is there any changelog?

I don't like updating without knowing what changed. Especially not with Plesk.
