  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Plesk access for hosting clients (I'm new to Plesk)

Hello,

I'm new to Plesk, I've been using CPanel and thought I'd explore the Windows hosting alertnative, so far so good. The one question I have is regarding the domains I am hosting, how do I setup those users with access to their Plesk control panel? I've added the domain and I created a web user but when I go to http://www.theirdomain.com:8880 I do get the plesk login screen but the web user account I created doesnt work. Is there something I am totally spacing on?

Any help would be appreciated :)

Thanks
Bubu

you have to enable domain user access for individual users from control panel ->domain name -> edit

select the check box for domain user access and give a password

Domain user can then access control panel as https://domainname:8443

username=domainname
password=the password you provided above
