  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Plesk advising that Apache won't restart because off SSL problem.

New Pleskian
Hello.

My old SSL expired, I bought a new one and basically, I made a mistake of removing the old certificate AND the default certificate at server level before I attempted to install the new one. I stopped the (VPS) server in order to restart and enter the new SSL certificate detail having removed the old ones. Big mistake.

I got this message on opening Plesk - "New files of configuration for Apache web server were not built due to errors in configuration templates: Syntax error on line 130 of /opt/psa/admin/conf/generated/13809789530.86072600_server.include: SSLCertificateFile: file '/opt/psa/var/certificates/certlpbvvt3' does not exist or is empty"

Can anyone suggest how I can fix this? My server provider is advising a rebuild? Is there a workaround?

Thanks in anticipation

Robert

Code:
/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/httpdmng --reconfigure-all

Thanks abdi - they have tried this, they say it doesn't work. Here is their reply "The command that you provided was one of many that I have previously tried to rectify the issue. I have also tried to run the bootstrap command and several other commands to rectify the issue. I have also tried to re-add a self signed SSL but the issue with Apache is still there".

Anyone else got possible solutions?

I can have this resolved for you with a through investigation. But you will need a level3 ticket ...See my signature ..
