  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question Plesk Alerts/Notifications

Andrew Bryson

New Pleskian
Hi Plesk Guru's, one of our clients Let's Encrypt certificates expired, so we dug into the logs, determined the problem and rectified it. That got me thinking whether Plesk has a way to send an email if it encounters specific issues. In this particular case, it would be great if it notified us when it encountered the issue we uncovered with the Let's Encrypt renewal.

Does Plesk have a built in way to do this? I can think of many work-around to do this, but wondering if Plesk already has a feature to do this built in.

Thank you in advance
Andrew
