• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Plesk autoupdater

I do not understand for what you have changed this URL somewhere? Plesk autoupdater should work by default without any URL changing.

Hi,

I havn't changed the URL. When i installed pleak the URL field was empty. This is the same on 2 installations that i have done so i dont know why this has happened.

The URL you have provided seems to have problems so maybe thats why it has been removed?

When you go into the update settings you should just be able to leave the field blank. It says the following :

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
if you want to receive updates from the official Parallels Plesk Panel updates server, leave this field blank
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have multiple windows installations that arenot seeing any updates (9.5.3., 10.0.0 and 10.0.1 are all missing). The licenses should support those upgrades. If download the upgrade package manually it all works. Autoupdater simply says those 9.5.2. and 9.5.3. installations are all up to date. If I put in the update url manually i get the same error, if i browse towards that URL i get a 403 error.

I'm starting to think all Windows Plesk installations are looking at http://pleskwin.download.swsoft.com/Plesk/Autoupdate/420FF3A6-FF3D-4B04-A9F2-896B2692EFB7.xml.crc. If you examine the xml there at http://pleskwin.download.swsoft.com/Plesk/Autoupdate/420FF3A6-FF3D-4B04-A9F2-896B2692EFB7.xml you see that the latest version listed in that xml is 8.6.0.5.

Could it be that the CDN (content delivery network) is not being updated or that Parallels is maintaining a different URL then the one that is actually embedded into the Plesk Windows installations?

Note that the updater in Windows and the updater through the website both say there arent any updates available. Manual installation of updater packages works fine.

here too!

Same problem here. My Plesk Linux was successful updated but the Windows Plesk didn't.
I tryed to reconfig the PleskUpdater.exe, at line <add key="UpdateURI" value="http://autoinstall-win.pp.parallels.com" /> without success.

Could you please send me the link for the manual update?

Thanks
