  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

OMG.. Help me out here. Ok i was messing around with a mysql database for a site installed applciation oscommerce trying to upgrade the oscommerce version . Anyhow i did a full plesk backup using the plesk included backup tool before anything... well long story short the mysql database got trashed....I tried to restore the domain and it did not restore the MYSQL database it is still trashed.. Please don't tell me that the plesk backup does not backup the mysql data... Or i guess if you tell me that then ok, i just have to live with it but does anyone know if the plesk tool does not backup mysql?

When you make a dump and you download and then edit it you will see in the code :

--_----------=_1127747631171930
Content-Type: application/x-mysql-dump
Content-Encoding: gzip
Content-Id: dd3b7b1ac1e7ae21968e6b69b73ed6ef
Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64

so the mysql dump has been made when using backup tool

Try to delete that database and then restore from backup because restore will not restore object if it already exists.
