  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Plesk backup manager

I'm just wondering what the purpose of the multi-volume feature is?

I know that it splits the backup into smaller sections however does this also ensure that the entire backup isn't put into a temp file before making the backup file?

For example, if you have a 100GB VPS and you are using 80GB, Plesk will create a temp file which would exceed the 100GB and therefore the backup would fail. Does the multi-volume option help with this?
