• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

plesk management service - stops websites running

Well in light of the fact that I've had this problem now for many months and plesk staff have done abolutely about it, I guess I shouldn't be surprised when this post goes to waste also.

but I'm an eternal optimist so I'll give it another go.

the plesk management services does not load ISAPI filters correctly. and every site that a filter is not loaded correctly will not work.

after restarting the management service, over and over and over and over again eventually It gets to a point where the filters are all loaded. but it's pure chance. could be on the first attempt.. more likely it'll be on the 50th attempt.

I've is remove the isapi filters form the sites that are not working and reload the management service then wah-lah they work 100% of the time.

Also stopping the plesk management service will also instantly bring up all sites..

the sites that do not work have no status listed for the isapi filters in IIS. normally a green up arrow is displayed. but in the plesk fooked up ones nothing is displayed. hence why the app pool will fail pings because the filters that are registered are blocking all requests.

I've had this problem for a long long long time, I sent many emails to parallels about it, all with no response... ever. and I've submitted several posts here on the forums again to absolute silence.

does no one else have this issue?
