• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

plesk not starting up

Hello,

Plesk is not running on our server. When we tried to start plesk control panel throgh service manageri t is showing the following error
error 1069 : The service did not start because of a logon failure

Any help is appreciated.

Hi,

Just copy the /admin/bin directpry from another working server and run the plesk reconfigurator...hope this will fix your issue.

I did the following to correct the "Error 1069" message :

1) Windows START >> Programs >> Accessories >> Command Prompt
2) "%plesk_bin%\plesksrvclient.exe"
3) Re-entered Plesk admin password
4) "%plesk_bin%\apache.exe" -n PleskControlPanel -k uninstall
5) "%plesk_bin%\apache.exe" -n PleskControlPanel -k install
6) From Task Manager started the PleskControlPanel Service
