• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Plesk password changes to hmailserver

Hello-

I have a customer using Plesk on a Windows server, if he changes the mail password in Plesk, it does not reflect in hMailserver. If he manually runs the command mchk.exe to rewrite the config from the Plesk DB, all is well. My questions are:

1. Has anyone else experienced this?
2. If so, is it a bug or is this just the way it works?
3. Is there a known workaround? I was thinking of running the mchk process once an hour, but I have no idea the impact of this to users.

Thanks for your time.
