• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Plesk slowed down on my VPS

S.ImanG

New Pleskian
Hello,
Its few days that I have problem with plesk on my VPS.
It slowed down badly, I also test plesk panel from server (localhost).

It can be related to lack of Virtuozzo resources for VPS. Check it from Virtuozzo point of view.

Hello,
I just have a VPS and I don't have access to anything but my VPS RDP.
I asked the support and they said:

Your vps itself consuming resources of main server. Please check attached screen shot.
You will find that it is running most of the nppool memory and that caused some slowness
while accessing plesk.
Please optimize your scripts and databases with the help of your web developer.

But I restarted the SQL and w3 services and know my server just have 600M memory in use (it has 2GB of memory).

I attached the picture my admin sent and also the screen shot I taken after restarting the services.

Thanks for your attention
Iman
