Plesk Updater Issues

Hi there!

I recently got the error message saying "Failed to check whether a new license key is available" and followed the directions here.

All went fine, but after I copied the new autoinstaller and set up the permissions I tried to restart the Plesk Updater

Now I get this error:

The auto-installer's configuration files .inf3 and .hdr.gz contain lists of packages that do not match.
Not all packages were installed.
Please, contact product technical support.

I would appreciate any help! Thanks in advance,

kind regards,
Julian

Nobody who can help me?
Maybe anyone from the Plesk Team?

Thanks in advance!!

We ran into the same problem on our server and in trying to fix it ran into problem after problem until half of the server was inoperational, so honestly I can't tell you all the steps we went through.

The final thing we did to fix everything was follow the advice in this KB http://kb.swsoft.com/en/1528 , though there may be other steps that need to be taken beforehand.

Hope that helps.

That unfortunately didn't help :( There have been the correct permissions.

Thanks anyway!

Anyone else with a hint?

I had the same problem, I got around it by upgrading plesk through yum. After the update I was able to update the key, and the error went away.

You can also try to upgrade it manually by downloading latest packages from here and running:

# rpm -Uvh <package_name>
