• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

afterwards the plesk control panel/interface is no longer accessible and the website belonging to it went down with the following error in the browser: INET_E_RESOURCE_NOT_FOUND. I can still access my VPS and connect through SSH on port 22 with PuTTY but I'm not that good with command lines.. Anyone advice?

The updates indicate that you are using a Linux server, but the error message is not a server message, but a Windows message in Microsoft Edge. Did you try to access your server from a different client (different Windows or maybe an Android browser on a smartphone)? What is happening on that browser?

If your server stays inaccessible I'd guess that some services are not running. These could be DNS or web servers. Did you check whether all services are running? Maybe restarting could help?
1)
# service psa stopall
# service psa start

2)
# service named restart
# service nginx restart
# service httpd restart

Thanks tot the advice but it seems I was blocked out by the firewall. After a iptables --flush command through SSH the problem tot solved
