  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue Plesk Window - Import/Export Database SQL Server Linux

Phạm Minh Văn

New Pleskian
Hello, I have a problem

I know Plesk now support SQL Server 2017.
SQL Server 2017 in Linux so cool. So i need build solution using SQL Server 2017 Linux with Plesk control panel in Window (run .NET App)

I Have two server : 1. Window with Plesk , 2. Linux with SQL Server 2017
I can config and connect Plesk to SQL Server 2017 (Linux) remotely. In Linux server have samba to connect share folder in Plesk server.

But I have issue, I can not export/import dump SQL Database, When I test export database have error and the log in SQL Server is :
BackupDiskFile::CreateMedia: Backup device '/samba/share_folder\10.1.1.12\ktpa_com_db\ddlE5AF.tmp' failed to create. Operating system error 2(The system cannot find the file specified.)

I think plesk window using backslashes "\\" for path file. But Linux system use forward slashes "/" . So the path file to backup incorrect.

Any body have solution for this. Thanks!
