  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Plesk with Postfixadmin?

PaulinoM

New Pleskian
Dear friends,

I will like to install the postfixadmin in a server with Plesk version 11 running CentOS. is this possible? The postfixadmin change something in the Plesk or can corrupt in any way the Postfix server?

Thank you!

What is the reason for this? Why are not enough opportunities of Plesk to manage Postfix?

Hello Igor,

Yes, I know, sounds crazy and in some way, stupid. But I'm using the Roundcube webmail and I need to install the vacation plugin there. This plugin needs some tables from postfixadmin but I'm afraid to install it and corrupt the system.

I know that Plesk have a vacation option but my clients love to make everything inside the Roundcube, including change password (that I solve with another plugin), spam control, etc. I'm just loosing this feature.

Thank you!

I can say only that consequences will be unpredictable :)
