  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question ports opening seems not working

Xavier

New Pleskian
Hi there,

I opened port 3050 and 3051 for incoming traffic using by activating firewall rules and created a new one.

By checking remotely open ports they are shown closed.

What is wrong? How can I solve this?

Thanks for help

What is running behind these ports? When a port is open, but nothing behind it is reacting to a request, it might look as if the port is closed.

Peter Debik right. And one more thing, if you deploy Plesk in Cloud, Plesk could be behind Cloud' Firewall. So, you need to allow these ports in Cloud firewall too.
