• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue [PPP-17104] bug in /usr/local/psa/bin/reconfigurator.pl

Linulex

Silver Pleskian
/usr/local/psa/bin/reconfigurator.pl doesn't change the ip addresses of domain aliases in the dns.

It doesn't matter if sync with primary domain is on or not.

This bug is also present in plesk 12.3.50, but there it did enter the correct ip addresses in the database, so turning every dns off and on again with a script would fix it. (write the ip addresses to named config).
In plesk 17.0.17 the correct ip addresses for aliases are not entered in the database either.

This makes it impossible to upgrade trough migration and keep the same ip address. This was done by deleting the ip address from the old server (after migration) and adding it to the new server with reconfigurator.

Jan
