  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Problem with Google Authenticator PAM-module / Multiple PAM authentications on login

New Pleskian
Hello,
I'm using the Google Authenticator PAM module for multi-factor authentication on my server. Since the update to Plesk 12 I'm no longer able to login to Plesk using my credentials.

From the logs it seems that Plesk 12 performs multiple PAM logins when a user tries to log into the panel. This fails due to the replay attack protection in the Google Auth PAM module.

Any hints how this behaviour can be changed, so that Plesk only performs a single PAM login?

For me this looks like a bug in the current version of Plesk 12. Sadly I've found no way to send Parallels a bug report without paying for the support subscription,

Psionic
