• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Problems with custom webmail.

New Pleskian
Please, fix adding custom webmail. Why changing webmail clients removes the "webmail." subdomain? And why it doesn't synchronize with the service plan?

Here is my situation:
I added new webmail client, set it in service plan and synchronized.
Bug #1. It didn't synchronize. I had to manually change client in each subscription.
Bug #2. Change of webmail client removed "webmail." subdomain, even though it was in DNS template!
Bug #3. After trying to "Apply DNS Template Changes" it didn't work. It said that all domanis were successfully synchronized, but they weren't! I had to manually reset DNS zone in each subscription.
Bug #4. After that Bug #3 went opposite! When I reset the template it says "0/90 zones were reset" for few seconds. After that it says "The DNS zone template was not applied to some DNS zones.". But actually, the zones WERE updated.

Any explanations for that kind of behaviour?

Also, it'd be great if you'd spend more resources for answering questions on this forum.

Thanks for nothing!

Btw.
Bug #5. There was default setting to automatically install new updates. Too bad the update system doesn't check if there is enough free space on partition. There wasn't. Update failed and all the services stopped working. Plesk was dead. I had to recover system and recreate every account.

My server is already paid for full year, and the provider doesn't offer other management panel. This is the only thing keeping me with plesk.
