  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Problems with mail configuration

Hello,

I have some problems with Plesk 9.3.0.

I can't receive E-Mails in my email accounts, which I added in Plesk. Mails, which were sended to my email account return to sender with the following text: "<info@domain.de>: host mail.domain.de[89.202.x.xx] said: 550 unknown
user (in reply to RCPT TO command)".

I saw many desciptions in the internet to that topic, but nothing helped...

I have a vServer at the german hoster www.1blu.de. I have installed CentOS 5.3 with Plesk.

Ask, if you need any further infos :)

I'm glad, if you help me. Thank you so much!

kind regards

Check /usr/local/psa/var/log/maillog, try to find useful information in KB articles http://kb.odin.com
Often such issues can be corrected by running Plesk mail reconfigurator tool:

/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/mchk --with-spam

Thanks for reply :)

I got the following output by running Plesk mail reconfigurator tool:
==> Checking for: mail_spam_restore... ok
==> Checking for: mailsrv_conf_init... ok
==> Checking for: mail_mailbox_restore... ok
==> Checking for: mailsrv_entities_dump... ok
==> Checking for: mail_admin_aliases... ok
==> Checking for: mail_auth_dump... ok
==> Checking for: mailman_lists_dump... ok
==> Checking for: mail_responder_restore... ok
==> Checking for: mail_drweb_restore... not exists
==> Checking for: mail_kav_restore... not exists
==> Checking for: mail_spf_restore... ok
==> Checking for: mail_dk_restore... ok
==> Checking for: mail_grey_restore... ok

But running this tool didn't solve the problem.

Thank you for the link to the KB articles. But the informations there didn't help.

I'm awaiting your answer,
kind regards.
