Problems with permissions/webserver

I got this when i wm trying to convert from phpBB 2.0.22 to olympus

Please make sure that these folders exist and are writable by the webserver then try again:
»./../images/avatars/gallery/bsd
./../images/avatars/gallery/dreambox
./../images/avatars/gallery/gallery
./../images/avatars/gallery/gallery 2
./../images/avatars/gallery/gallery 4
./../images/avatars/gallery/gallery3
./../images/avatars/gallery/tux
images/avatars/gallery/bsd
images/avatars/gallery/dreambox
images/avatars/gallery/gallery
images/avatars/gallery/gallery 2
images/avatars/gallery/gallery 4
images/avatars/gallery/gallery3
images/avatars/gallery/tux.

I have set all these folders to 777 but still no hope,thank god this is only a testforum

nobody that can tell me whats wrong with permissions its frustrating after all i must convert to olympus on mye board and wants it to work before i do that
