    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

promote subdomain to full domain

Hi Guys

I've got a plesk 11 server and I've created a subdomain for a client but I need to have this as a full domain for the SSL certificate. Is there a way to convert a subdomain to a full domain without deleting the subdomain and creating a new hosting subscription?

Generally there is no difference between domain and subdomain in Plesk 11 if subdomain has been created with own hosting subscription. This subdomain has own DNS zone and can be managed as usual domain.
 
you should be able to bind ssl to subdomain. You can remove it manually and readd it as separate domain in plesk. Just make sure you take backup of the domain before deleting it.
