• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Qmail SMTP Configuration and Port

Dear All

I need to know how to change SMTP port of Qmail in Plesk
because some ISP start to block Port 25 (SMTP)
and the our ISP policy is to add alternative smtp port to 465 because it's one of wall know SMTP port (known as SMTPS)
but we didn't have SMTPS - SMTP over SSL. but we need to use only the port (after we start SMTPS, everything will keep going without change)
So I need to know how to disable SMTPS feature in Qmail or change the port SMTPS to other port

Best Regards,

Yuttana H.

Hi Igor,

the article, that u linked ist totaly obsolete. In Plesk 11 comes an error-message, if
Postfix (Parallels Plesk Panel 9.x, 10.x, ...)

Add the following line to the Postfix configuration file /etc/postfix/master.cf: ...
typed in SSH-console:
/etc/postfix/master.cf: Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden (File or Directory not found)

Parallels should update the article http://kb.parallels.com/article_22_837_en.html

greets
