  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Redhat 9 and SB 3?

Jllynch

Regular Pleskian
We are running sitebuilder 2 or such (not sure how to get the exact version no)on Redhat 9 and wanted to know if we can upgrade to the newer version of Sitebuilder. I don't see a redhat 9 version for download.

Also is the upgrade process very easy and it version3 much better than version 2?

As I know there is no build for RH9. Also Plesk not distributed for RH9 anymore. From http://www.swsoft.com/en/sitebuilder2/reqs/
SWsoft will also discontinue the following Operating Systems on December 31st, 2005: Red Hat 9.0 and Fedora Core 1. As of this date, SWsoft will no longer be able to support, patch, troubleshoot, or answer support issues related to these Operating Systems. We will send a reminder notification as this date approaches. Please prepare now for a smooth transition.

Upgrade quite an easy process. Just follow documentation. As for version 3 I can suggest you to play with it a little bit on SWSoft demo site: http://www.swsoft.com/en/products/sitebuilder3/demo/
If you like it - just upgrade.
