  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question Remove Virtual Host Template files?

Laurence@

Regular Pleskian
How can I remove the default files and directories from Plesk when a new domain is created? The css, img, test directories and the index.html and favicon.ico? I want httpdocs to be blank when a domain is created as WP is auto-installed.

The default files are copied from the directory: /var/www/vhosts/.skel/0/httpdocs
You can try to remove the contents from this httpdocs folder and then create a new subscription, then the httpdocs folder of your new subscription should be empty

I'm 99% sure that it won't be repopulated, as this directory is only populated during the installation of Plesk when it discovers that it's a new installation. But maybe a Plesk staff member can tell you more....
