• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Renaming of domain leaves open_basedir unchanged, so PHP will stop working

Thomas Poisl

Basic Pleskian
Hi guys,

it seems that this problem reappeared: http://kb.odin.com/en/115838

To be honest, it is a special domain I renamed, since I created a domain which was actually a subdomain of another domain.

An the package was modified, so it is no longer linked to the package.

But renaming should change the open_basedir, since it is set to the standard value "{WEBSPACEROOT}/:{TMP}/".

I'm running the latest plesk version under CentOS 6.6 (12.0.18 Update #30).

Can you please fix this problem?

Best regards,

Thomas

This was actually a Typo3 specific problem.

After renaming a domain (so the path to the web root folder changes), you have to clear the typo3temp folder, else you'll run into this problem.
