  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

New Pleskian
Hi,

first of all I am searching for a way to safely upgrade my Centos4 to Centos5 Distribution, I thought of doing it with a spare server restore/backup & backup/restore back, because I dont know if a distriupgrade via yum works on a productional running plesk on it.

So, when restoring on the spare server I get this error via the gui:

ERROR: PleskPMMResponseException

and this error via the console:

If you know what can cause this, or have other ways to achieve the upgrade goal please let me know.

It is impossible to upgrade OS where Plesk already installed. Plesk will be completely broken after this upgrade. Plesk has own distributive for different OSes and Plesk will work correctly only on corresponding version of OS.
