• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Restore Plesk default skel files

Hi,

For one reason or another unknown to myself, the directory /var/www/vhosts/.skel has vanished from my server meaning whenever I attempt to create a new domain I get the following error:

Code:
Error: Unable to update hosting preferences: hosting update is failed: object ID is invalid

When I took a look at the log file "/usr/local/psq/admin/logs/httpsd_error_log" I found the error:

Code:
Unexpected error: Skeleton directory '/var/www/vhosts/.skel/0' does not exist

Further inspection shows the complete ./skel directory is missing.

Can anyone inform me how to go about restoring the ./skel directory please?

Kind Regards,

Just create this missing directory with content as it is described here, for example.
