  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue Rights problems with FTP and Softaculous.

CobraArbok

Regular Pleskian
Hi,
some of the problems I had previously reported here refer to the rights assigned by Plesk to files and folders.

I have installed a new clean server image and there are the same problems.
The server is a VPS based on Ubuntu 16.04.3 Plesk is 17.5.3#38.
In addition to the default installation I installed only: nano, mc and iocube loader (necessary for the installation of Softaculous).
I have installed only two domains and 5 applications with Softaculous.
I then copied the files via FTP to make a website restore with AkeebaBackup.
All do not paginate correctly or give error "file not found"
To solve part of these problems I have to give permissions 755/644 to folders and files, but I expected that they were already assigned automatically at the time of installation or transfer.

Where am I doing wrong?

Thanks in advance.
