• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Rkhunter: SharedLockManagerStorage_v2

New Pleskian
Hi,
since some days I'm getting this alert from rkhunter:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Warning: Suspicious file types found in /dev:
/dev/shm/SharedLockManagerStorage_v2-99458cd82f: data
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I've found similar problems googling and on this forum but nobody have a solution or explanation about it.

May I delete it? Should I just whitelist it?

Thanks for your help,
Andrea

It is just warning but not error. This file is used by Plesk and not suspicious. You can safely ignore it or add to whitelist.
