  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue Roundcube webmail client empty after domain migration

frdho

New Pleskian
Hello,

I've migrated a bunch of domains to a new VPS.

I'm having the issue with a single e-mail account that the webmail shows up empty when opening. There are no e-mails present in roundcube, however, new mails are received.

This is the only affected e-mail account, all others are fine.

The weird thing is that in Plesk, it shows that about 175MB of storage is used for that e-mail account.

What could be going on?

Have you clicked the refresh usage button at that top? Kinda sounds like the messages didn't get migrated. Do you still have access to the old server?

Check wether there are folders not checked, they wont show otherwise.
Another option is that the permissions are not set right, use the command plesk repair mail *domain name* or check the files manually.
PS when i run the "plesk repair mail" script it sets spamassassin to 0.0 causing all mail to be denied, to fix this run "grep 0.0 /var/qmail/mailnames/*/*/.spamassassin/user_prefs" and remove all the 0.0 rules from the files if they pop up.
