• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Running Plesk behind a DMZ

Dreshar

New Pleskian
Hi Community,

i've been having the following problem recently.

We're running a Ubuntu Server (with Plesk 11.0.9) for testing purposes in our network. We're currently running our webservers on a windows 2k8 server with apache etc running but want to migrate to the linux server asap.

Ubuntu is running in a Hyper-V virtual server, assigned 2 network adapters 1 local 10.x.x.x and one adapter which puts the server into the DMZ (192.168.x.x).

When testing locally, everything works fine with mail, domains etc. Today we wanted to migrate to plesk to see if its functional and then order.

As we tried to access the panel via the routed addresses (configuration must be correct in firewall, cause if i put the same settings on windows server it works instantly) the linux srv with plesk is not responding to its public ip address.

Any idea?
