I have read several similar threads on the problem I am having unfortunately any suggestions did help me. I am running Plesk 7.1.2 on a Fedora box.

When I try to install cgi scripts I get the following error:

failed to open log file /var/log/httpd/suexec_log
[Fri Jul 07 17:12:04 2006] [error] [client XX.XX.XX.XX] fopen: Permission denied
[Fri Jul 07 17:12:04 2006] [error] [client XX.XX.XX.XX] Premature end of script headers: index.cgi

I have tried the following:

  • make sure all files are 755

    Uploaded in ASCII

made sure the files in the cgi-bin are correct

    performed cp /usr/sbin/psa-suexec /usr/sbin/suexec

I am getting very frustrated. Any suggestions would really help.
