  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

SB control panel cannot be accessed over the internet ?

Hello people,

I have W2003, Plesk 7.6 and SB 3. I am using the Plesk control panel over the internet (via https-address and via port 8443). I openend up port 2006 on the firewall to access the SB control panel over the internet as well.

Now, when I am in the Plesk control panel, I correctly see the new SB Admin icons. However, when I click on one of them, I can see the necessary page over port 2006 is opened up, but nevertheless I get a "the page cannot be displayed" error after a while.

By the way: all of this works fine whe I am not using this over the internet but directly on the server.

I am pretty sure the port is set open correctly. What else could I be doing wrong ?

Regards,

Mav.
