  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

scheduled tasks - bash shell script

danallen1

Basic Pleskian
This cannot be too hard. The script in this task runs no problem at the command line.

What do I need to do to make it work as a scheduled task? (it's set to run every minute so I can see whether it is working.

Also where are the results of cron jobs logged?

Things I have tried but without success:

I tried changing it this:

I ran this command, recommended by this article in the Plesk documentation
# /usr/local/psa/bin/server_pref -u -crontab-secure-shell "/bin/bash"

Fixed. Moved the script to within the webspace owned by the login used to setup the jobs.

Can you imagine if right on the screen, where you setup scheduled tasks, it said, "for this job to work, the account setting up the task needs to have permissions to run the script. Click here to test." That would be so weird.
