  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Hi there all,

I have an issue to report. I have plesk 7.1 for windows installed on windows 2003 server and i have a DNS server that is running windows 2000 DNS at some different subnet.

When i try to transfer my domain records to that windows 2000 server to make it work as a secondary (backup) dns server, it cannot get the records from my plesk server.

The records on my plesk server is as follows,

<domain>. A <ip>
<domain>. MX (10) mail.<domain>.
<domain>. NS <my_plesk_server>
<ip> / 24 PTR <domain>.
ftp.<domain>. CNAME <domain>.
mail.<domain>. A <ip>
mssql.<domain>. A <ip>
webmail.<domain>. A <ip>

Any help would be appriciated
