• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question secure plesk certificate over CLI does not work

Jens Johansson

Basic Pleskian
Hi there,

i want to update the plesk certificate (login over the browser). The CLI has nice commands, but no command for "Secure Plesk". How can i set "secure plesk" over CLI? We have to update many server.

When i follow the steps in the panel (in the browser) ->"Tools & Settings -> SSL Certificates -> Secure Plesk", this works. The browser show me the new certificate.

When i place the new keys in "/usr/local/psa/admin/conf/httpsd.pem", after a server reboot the panel show me the old certificate.

I use CentOS 6.8/7.3 with Plesk 12.5 and all current micro updates.

Who can help me?

Try to use:

# /usr/local/psa/admin/bin/certmng --help
Usage: certmng [OPTIONS]...

--setup-cp-certificate --certificate=<cert_file> [--rootchain-certificate=<rootchain_cert_file>]
