  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Securing Virtual Directories

I am running Plesk for Windows v 8.1 on windows server 2003.
I have shared my main site's SSL with a subdomain so the virtual path is

https://mymaindomain.com/myotherdomain

it is of course in C:\inetpub\vhosts\myotherdomain\httpsdocs

I am unable to secure some subdirectores thru Plesk. If I go to the "myotherdomain" web directories option, it shows only content in the httpdocs folder not the httpsdocs.

If I go to the Mymaindomain web directories and click on the myotherdomain link. I get a mesage saying I do not have permission to view the contents of that directory even though I am logged into Plesk as the server administrator.

I hope I explained this well :)

Any help appreciated
Kerry
