TwitterSome Forms not working on server
Some of my .asp forms are not working (the send code does work on some site but not all) The code use to work on all sites but has stopped working on some.
Server in question is Windows 2008 and and I have Plesk 11 running.
If I add the working code from a site change the from and password to match it new setting for that domain the errors i receive is it cannot authenticate the email problem.
.aspx i.e. dotnet forms do not appear to be affected.
I believe the route of the problem is somewhere on the server the authentication is not working.
I managed to get another website to work with sending emails but the settings which are working on that site when applied to do not work and a get an
error '8004020f'
So when I Google that I get something along the lines of....
Which means that the e-mail was rejected by the server for some reason.
I there a checklist of the settings to check on a Windows 2008 server and the Plesk settings.
The sending code is working on some .asp sites the challenge is the authentication is failing.
Any thoughts much appreciated.
