  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Setup Plesk to have search engine friendly subpages?

Hi we have a client who prefers to use our linux box over our Windows box (using Plesk 8.6.0) as he claims that Plesk will not allow him to use search engine friendly sub pages. (I.e www.example.com/about.htm) instead he gets a numerical ID instead. www.example.com/371283128.htm)

Is this an option that was can change from within Plesk to make our sub-pages URLs like our linux box and use plaintext instead of numerical values?

Any help GREATLY appreciated.

Lee.
