  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue SM service restarts/webmail timeouts

I've noticed when things like unsuspend/suspend run from Plesk it restarts the smartermail service briefly which causes webmail to timeout and kickout all users who were logged in. This has happened for years across all of our Plesk Windows Servers with smartermail.

We use Plesk 17 and SM15 and we would like this to be changed so sessions are not lost!
 
Starting from Plesk Onyx we have decreased number of situations when restart of SmarterMail service is performed.
When mail domain is suspended/unsuspended Plesk should not restart MailService anymore (this is valid for Plesk Onyx and SmarterMail >= 14.3). You have SM15, so this is strange, need to investigate this.

Can you please enable debug on your server as explained here https://kb.plesk.com/en/112125
and then send admin\logs\plesklog_debugYYYYmmdd.log file to me in private message for analysis.
