  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

SNI, certificates and aliases

Regular Pleskian
Hi there,

plesk for linux supports SNI, for quite some time even. Now it would be very nice if we could select certificates for aliases. Not only would it be much cheaper, it would also easier allow a shared magento installation for example. Not only is it usually not desired to have the other stores URL's running on the same install in the certificate, it would also be less hassle. As normally when a domain would be added you'd have to go get a new UCC/SAN certificate, with SNI you can just get a certificate for that domain alone.

Unfortunately there don't appear to be SSL configuration settings for aliases at all. Is this possible currently? Is it in the works otherwise?

Kind regards,
